The site was hosted in August 2006 and rehosted in January 2007 by Honorable Ananta Roy, Minister of Forest, Govt. W.B. India, in Dooars Utsav 2007. myDooars.com was planned and produced in the belief that the contents and services will make the people know about the this unexploited natural beauty.

Oh Dooars! Oh Dooars! Oh Dooars - Oh lovely Dooars! Really she is the most favorite daughter of Goddess nature. Nature has adorned her with her own hues and colours. Nature has given her abandance and she seems to be the proudest daughter of rich family. Dooars is the unique creation of nature. The snow-capped pinnacles of Himalayan range on the north seen in the midst of patches of clouds, strong and forceful rivulets, the streams passing through and lashing against stones and rocks of hilly tracts, the dense forests and again the green carpeted stretches of plains - all are the uniqueness of Dooars. Beams of Sunlight glimmer over the top of the towering granite hills, the torrents of water gush over the highest edge cascading down creating a mist and refracting the sun into rainbow hues of red, yellow and blue.
